Good afternoon, Sunday!

I am not sure whether to feel nervous or excited about my first blog post. Creating a blog has been in my thoughts for a while now, but I haven’t gotten around to doing it – until today! For some reason I decided to sort out the enormous amount of photos on my computer, which got me really inspired. Like I mentioned in my ‘about’ post, I have felt like I need an outlet or a platform where I can get my thoughts out. A blog to me is like a blanc canvas, and a great opportunity to be creative. I have to admit that being a full-time student is not always the most inspiring thing I can think of, and it is nice to have somewhere with no limits that allows you to do or create something completely different.

firstpost1One of the best things I know if photography. I got my first DSLR as a gift about 7 years ago and I have been sort of addicted ever since. I love walking around in the streets, in the woods, by the sea, taking photos of the sunrise, the sunset and the stars. I think photography is an amazing way to bring memories back to life, or express yourself creatively. It is also one of those things where it doesn’t really matter whether you use your phone or an expensive camera – what matters is that you enjoy it and you like the outcome. And of course it gets ten times better if I bring a good friend along or listen to some good music.

I will try to tell my story on here the best I can. I want this platform to be a place I can talk about my whole journey from when I first started thinking about where I wanted to do my degree, through the whole process of moving, adapting and finding myself in a foreign country. If you are in the same position as I am or you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to leave them in the comment section.

Other than that, I hope you are ready for a new week tomorrow and that it turns out great for you. Thank you for stopping by! Until next time…
